PROMOTING EMOTIONAL BALANCE

     Storms come naturally in nature. Thunder and lightning , along with wind, water, and fire, together create some magnificent sites. Some people are so affected they choose to study this phenomenon.

     

     There are also "storms" that blow in and pass through our lives. Some are minor with minimal or no damage at all. Some can be refreshing and cleansing, clearing the heaviness out of the air. But some are so major that they can leave behind them a path of destruction so overwhelming it's difficult to know where to start with the clean-up.

     If everyone experiences natural stressors in life why are some able to manage them better than others? Why, you might ask, is the high rate of mental health disorders such a phenomenon? When and how will this skyrocketing disease pattern begin to recede?
   

     Science shows us that the entire body responds to the state of our emotions. High blood pressure is considered idiopathic, not having any known physical cause. Yet many with anger issues have high blood pressure. Today scientists are exploring ways to reduce HBP with non-conventional methods and realizing it has a direct correlation with the emotion of anger. Here is one physician's experience on how anger changed his life.
